Who We Are

A community of ordinary people learning to follow an extraordinary Savior.

Our Mission

To Help People Find and Follow Jesus

Our mission is to see souls saved by Jesus Christ, baptized into the local church, and discipled to seek and serve Him daily.

Our Vision

A Church That Looks Like the Hill Country

Our vision is to establish an autonomous, self-supporting New Testament church that trains local leaders, provides a Christian school and daycare for surrounding families, and actively supports local church planters and missionaries.

What We Believe

Statement of Faith

  1. 01

    The Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible was written by men supernaturally inspired by God — true without error, and the only complete and final revelation of God's will to man. The 66 books from Genesis to Revelation are the very Word of God, preserved for us today.

    Scripture2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 12:6-7
  2. 02

    The True God

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three co-equal and co-eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is identical in nature, equal in power and glory, possessing the same attributes and perfections.

    ScriptureMatthew 28:19
  3. 03

The Person & Work of Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God — conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He accomplished our redemption through His substitutionary death on the cross and His literal, physical resurrection, and is now exalted at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate.

    ScriptureJohn 1:1; Isaiah 7:14; Romans 3:24-25; Hebrews 7:25
  4. 04

    The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and is the supernatural agent in regeneration — indwelling and sealing believers unto the day of redemption. He equips believers with spiritual gifts for the edification of the church; sign gifts ceased with the completion of the New Testament canon.

    ScriptureJohn 16:8-11; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 13:8
  5. 05

    Fall of Man & Salvation

We believe man was created in innocence but fell by voluntary transgression, leaving all mankind sinners by nature and choice, under just condemnation. Salvation is entirely of grace — a free gift of God received solely through personal faith in the shed blood and finished work of Jesus Christ. All the redeemed are kept by God's power and are secure in Christ forever.

    ScriptureRomans 3:10-19; 5:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 10:28
  6. 06

    The Local Church

We believe the local church is a visible, autonomous congregation of immersed believers, associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel. Christ established two ordinances — Believer's Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper — as memorials with no saving merit. The church is self-governing, independent of any external hierarchy, with Christ as its ultimate Head.

    ScriptureActs 2:41-42; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
  7. 07

    Future Events

We believe in the literal, bodily, and imminent return of Jesus Christ. We hold to the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, followed by the seven-year tribulation, and the visible, post-tribulational return of Christ to establish His literal millennial reign on earth.

    Scripture1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:6
  8. 08

    Satan & the Final State

We believe in the personality of Satan, the open enemy of God and man, destined to eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men — the saved to eternal joy in Heaven and the unsaved to eternal, conscious punishment in Hell.

    Scripture1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 20:10, 20:15; John 5:28-29
  9. 09

    Missions

We believe the command to give the Gospel to the world is clear and unmistakable. The church is sent to proclaim Christ to every nation, tribe, and tongue until He returns.

    ScriptureMatthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Romans 10:13-15
  10. 10

    Human Life & Social Issues

We believe human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being made in the image of God. Abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia are wrong according to God's Word. We believe God designed each person, without error, as either male or female — an identity that no bodily change can alter.

    ScripturePsalm 139:14-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Genesis 1:27
